Walford Group is started with the acquisition of Walford Enterprise on 26th April 1995. Though incorporated in September 1989, Walford Enterprise was not active until its acquisition in 1995. The main business operation of Walford Enterprise was then focusing on import, export and wholesale of both original and compatible computer consumables such as printer and typewriter ribbons, laser toners, ink cartridges as well as office stationery. In November 1998, it acquired Walford International Pte Ltd, which in turn acquired its present office premises to house the team of Walford Group comprising the following companies and their business divisions: Walford Enterprise: A leading importer& exporter of printer consumables in Singapore. In addition, Walford Enterprise has been successful in general trading of household items and computer accessories such as floppy disk, CDR, keyboards and mouse. Walford International Pte Ltd: Property leasing and project investment Walford Resources Pte Ltd: The main objective of the company is to supply a range of raw materials to overseas market. These raw materials include, but not limited to, plastic(new and recycle), liquid fertiliser, timber, cocoa& rubber. We are involved in collection of scrapped plastic from South-east Asia and Europe, export these scrapped plastic to our sister company for sale to customers who turn them into recycled products. Besides, Walford Resources Pte Ltd has tied up with 14 distributors in Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, Bangladesh, India, Vietnam and other south-east Asian countries to distributor our liquid fertiliser(we named our Product as Walford Hi-Gro ) under our trademark of Walford. Appliance Innovation Pte Ltd: Manufacturing and sales of Home Electrical Appliance such as Light and Air-Con Energy Saver, multi-purpose remote control, Lifestyle Appliances. This is a project venture. Today, Walford Group has grown from an enterprise to a group of companies, from a one-man business to a 20-people organisation, with associate and staff Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. It is constantly looking for expansion opportunity both in local and overseas market.
